Short Films

NYU Film School (1993).  16mm black and white, silent, Arriflex.  Edited on Steenbeck flatbed.  Filmed across the Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village and Soho.  This was a project I directed for my film production class.  I cast my dorm roommate, Anthony Amoia, as the lead actor – he’s now an editor doing projects for MTV, Olympics, etc.  Someone came up to me during the shoot and wanted to buy the painting with the black circle on it, seriously. – Monte
