“This was the first time I worked on set on a real “Hollywood” studio production. It was made by Chanticleer Films, who made these short films for the cable network. They cast some newbie actor named “Brad Pitt” to star in it. It was shot at Culver Studios and up in the desert in Santa Clarita area. I did typical grunt production work, as well as bringing bagels and orange juice to Brad Pitt’s trailer – he said “thanks.” Believe it or not, this film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short in 1992.” - Monte
