“I discovered this screenplay – then titled “Preston Tylk” – while working at ICM.  It was a great thriller script and I worked with the writer on developing the script further, then I got him represented at the agency. William Friedkin (French Connection) expressed interest in directing it at one point.  The film got released under the title “Bad Seed” by Artisan.” – Monte
